About the Role

An an Accounting Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in securing the accuracy and reliability of Nestlé’s financial reporting. You be involved in critical accounting processes, collaborate with corss-functional stakeholders, and actively support the company’s continuous improvement intiatives.

A Day in the Life of an Accounting Operations Specialist

•  Coordinate Period End Closing in area of responsibility and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

• Ensure compliance with Nestlé guidelines, instructions, and best practices of market related scopes

• Contribute to market AO policies and procedures. Provide active support to Shared Service Center

• Perform reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts

• Review and approve reconciliations done by the Shared Service Center

• Identify and participate in improvement opportunities

What will make you successful

• Commercial apprenticeship combined with experience in a fiduciary or accounting department

• This position is ideal for candidates preparing for the Swiss accounting certificate (brevet)

• A successful experience of min. 2-3 years in an Accounting role

• Analytical thinking, accuracy and attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills, a “can do” attitude and team spirit

• Proficiency in French and English
