Responsibilities
  • You provide legal advice as a legal co-pilot to the IS/IT and Corporate Services categories in the Marketing and Corporate Services spend group fostering proactive relationships with procurement managers and buyers in these categories.
  • You are responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts for software licenses, cloud services agreements and hardware procurement agreements and  for providing legal, compliance and risk analysis.
  • You provide advice on legal aspects related to new technologies, including artificial intelligence, payment platforms and cybersecurity.
  • You ensure consultations with the lead lawyer of these categories on key legal matters and risks and actively contribute to the strategies and initiatives in these categories.
  • You manage and resolve claims with a focus on business continuity and prevention of value leakage
  • You raise awareness, visibility and importance of legal matters to procurement managers and buyers, particular in training them on using legal-self-service tools such as IBS Legal support and ensure early legal involvement.
  • You develop best in class form agreements, processes (including risk assessment) for above market transactions
  • You effectively collaborate with other members of the Nestrade Legal team and Legal & Compliance at Zones, GMBs and Markets and proactively align with relevant Centers of Competence (such as IT, IP, Privacy and Corporate)
  • To protect the best interests of Nestlé, you are aligned with the fundamental Corporate and Procurement Policies (e.g. Nestlé Corporate Business Principles, Nestlé Code of Business Conduct, Nestlé Responsible Sourcing Core Requirements, etc.) 

Your profile
  • You are a professionally qualified lawyer with at least 6 years of professional experience post qualification
  • A double degree or experience in Swiss and common Law is a plus
  • You have experience with dealing with different disciplines and cultures and have the ability to proactively manage the legal aspects of complex projects with multiple, cross functional stakeholders
  • You are used to working under high pressure/high visibility projects and have a strong ability to manage time and business critical transactions, especially in procurement (negotiation contracts)
  • You have a solid experience in legal advice on IS/IT and telecommunications contracts and a strong understanding of technology, privacy and digital/AI law
  • You have an excellent command of written and spoken English
